Monument Passes are limited by a first-come, first-serve basis per day. You may only enter the monument with a pass, and you can guarantee entrance to the statue by purchasing a reserve ticket with monument pass.

First, choose your departure location. New York or New Jersey.

You can begin and end your trip at either Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey or at Battery Park, New York, at the southern tip of Manhattan.

Get a Reserve Ticket if you know the date and time you’d like to visit.

The Reserve Ticket gives you a specific day and time to arrive at the security screening zone and will reduce the amount of time you wait in line.

Decide if you would like to add a Monument Pass to your visit. This pass allows you to go inside the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty, view the museum exhibit, see the interior structure of the Statue, which was built by Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel, and take in the sweeping 360-degree views from the pedestal observation deck and Ft. Wood. In the museum, you will learn about the sculptor Frederic-Auguste Bartholdi and the ingenious internal structure created by Eiffel, who also designed the Eiffel Tower. There is no fee for the Monument Pass. From Memorial Day Weekend through Columbus Day Weekend, the final Monument Entry will be at 4:30 pm. All other times, Monument entry will cease at 3:30 pm.

Once you select the day and time of your trip, consider adding the Audio Tour for the Statue of Liberty and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. There are tours for each island included and both give you rich and in-depth information about the history and significance of the islands. The audio tour includes both islands and is available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

Now you’re all set – go ahead and enter your contact and payment information, select "e-Ticket" and you'll receive an email with your ticket, which you should print and bring with you. You can skip the ticket booth and straight to the the Reserve Line for security to start your experience!

Get a Flex Ticket if you need more flexibility in your arrival.

Are you in New York or New Jersey, but don’t know exactly when you’ll be able to visit the Statue of Liberty National Monument or the Ellis Island Immigration Museum? Purchase a Flex Ticket, which allows you to make your trip within a three day period.

Just enter the day you’d like the ticket to start with a Flex Ticket. It is valid for one entry within three days from your start date. There are audio tours for the Statue of Liberty and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, which give you rich and in-depth information about the history and significance of the islands. The audio tour includes both islands and is available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

Though the Monument Pass is not available online with the Flex Ticket, a limited number of Monument Passes are available each day at the ticket booth at Battery Park or Liberty State Park by request on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Now you’re all set – go ahead and enter your contact and payment information – select "eTicket" and you'll receive an email with your ticket, which you should print and bring with you. When you decide to go you can skip the ticket booth and go straight to the Flex Line for security. Please allow for longer wait times during peak season.
