Ellis Island Movie: Island of Hope, Island of Tears - Free 45-minute experience including a live introduction and a film about the immigrant experience.
Ellis Island Junior Ranger Programs - These self-directed activities are documented in a book on both islands. Materials are distributed and collected at the Ellis Island Information Desk. Junior Rangers receive a Junior Ranger badge upon completion.
American Family Immigration History Center - Located on Ellis Island enables a visitor to explore family immigration to America through the extensive records using an interactive database.
American Immigrant Wall of Honor - For families who choose to honor a member of their family by having their name etched in the external wall outside of Ellis Island.
